Video sample submission
Please record a video, two to five minutes in length, that you consider to be indicative of your ability to communicate with an audience. The technical quality of the video does not need to be high; videos recorded with smartphones or other easily accessible technology are perfectly acceptable. If you have already developed your proposed presentation(s) (or portions of it/them), please record a video of a two- to five-minute segment of (one of) your proposed presentation(s). If you have not yet developed your proposed presentation(s), please prepare a two- to five-minute preliminary summary of (one of) your proposed presentation(s) and record a video of it.
Please send your video electronically to Matt Meacham, program manager. If you have recorded your video on a smartphone or a similar device, you might be able to e-mail it directly from your device to Matt's e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In other cases, especially if your video file is too large for your e-mail account to accommodate it as an attachment, we recommend sending it to Matt by means of WeTransfer. To do so, please follow these directions:
--- Go to wetransfer.com.
--- Click on “Add your files” on the left side of the screen.
--- Select your video file.
--- In the "E-mail to" blank, enter email@example.com.
--- In the “E-mail from” blank, enter your e-mail address.
--- Click on “Transfer.”
If you experience difficulties in submitting your video, please contact Matt Meacham at firstname.lastname@example.org or (312) 422-5589, and he'll be happy to assist you. Please do not allow video submission difficulties to prevent you from applying.
